As a consequence of important films production, Nice concentrates 10 Theatres. If you want to see a movie during your stay, know that a lot of them are in English. If you choose a public progammation, go on the big boulevards like the Pathé Paris or Massena, Jean Médecin Avenue or Variety, boulevard Victor Hugo. You will find great space and confortable conditions. If you prefer European movies of “Arts et Essai”, go to the RIALTO on Rivoli or at THE NEW MERCURY Theatre places Garibaldi. You will be able to see some movies in original version. Don't forget the FILM LIBRARY OF NICE 3, Esplanade Kennedy.

As in all big cities, Nice offers a great choice of opera house, concerts and theatre programmations.    

Concerning operas, ballets and concerts know that the opera of Nice has a good programmation with dramatic or contemporary creations.

Nice has concerts all year. They show in different places like in the Palace Nikaïa, the TNN, the Theater of Greenery, the Acropolis. Arenas of Cimiez offers an extremely eclectic programmation. If you want to buy concerts tickets or get infos, on the musical actuality, FNAC or VIRGIN MEGASTORE are the best places to get them.
